Widows Ministry

God's word instructs us, "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."  James 1:27

God’s Word is very clear that one of the priorities of the local church is to recognize and embrace widows within the church family. Our desire is that this ministry would touch the real needs in a widow's life.

Whether or not you call Harvest Bible Chapel your home, all widows are welcome to attend our widow bible studies and seasonal events.  These will startup again in Elgin September 18 and in Rolling Meadows September 25. Stay tuned for more details.
